Clip and Pic of the Week #1
Every Friday, I am going to be posting a clip and picture that i would like to share with everyone. I think it would be a good way to show everyone some of my footage and stills that i have acquired over the years, and it also is something to look forward to seeing on Fridays. I will post either old, or new clips and pictures. (For the first few weeks they will have to be all old because i do not have access to cameras until i am back home from school for the summer).
PICTURE #1
This is one of my very first, actually I am pretty sure, THE first picture i had ever had taken by Mr. John Haynes. John is one of my favorite dudes ever. Over the years I have gotten to know John pretty well inside and outside of the skating world. Anyone who meets him knows that he is unreal at what he does. He has become one of the top skate photographers in the entire world, and i feel very fortunate to have John snapping photos of me. John is a real dude, whom i am very happy to know. This photo was also my very first photo printed in Be-Mag. It was taken at the Middle-school i attended for 6th-8th grade. I never imagined that the rail outside my artroom would one day lead me into my very first taste of exposure to the entire world. Topsoul… Thanks Mr. Haynes for everything you have done for me.
We are having some issues with photography rights so for now, i cannot put it up… that sucks
CLIP #1
For my first clip, I would like to start it out with a bang…This would probably be my favorite clip that i have ever gotten. These are the ever so famous gap rails from IMYTA Montreal. Myself, Brett Hammond, Dan Knapmiller, Brian Hiltner and Mike Garlinghouse took a nice lengthy road trip to Canada in the summer of 2006. It was probably the best time skating i have ever had. Amazing spots+amazing friends=good footy and lots of funny stories. I would love to go back to Canada soon. I will upload more photos/clips from this trip in the future. I <3 Canada. Thanks to the guys who showed us around while we were in the area!
